What is CAREinMIND™ Wellbeing Support Service?
Please note: This service will close on June 24 2026. If you have counselling sessions booked we will ensure they are completed before the closing date. No new sessions will be booked after 31 May. Support for you is still available and free. Please head to the Australian Government’s Medicare Mental Health Check In service.
CAREinMIND™ Wellbeing Support Service is a free phone and online counselling support service.
CAREinMIND™ Wellbeing Support Service is for anyone aged 15 years and older who is feeling the pressures and stresses of everyday life.
- It is for people who live, work or study in northern, western and central Melbourne.
- Professional counsellors are available 24-hours a day, seven days a week.

About Lifeline
CAREinMIND™ Wellbeing Support Service is delivered by professional counsellors at Lifeline. This service is funded by North Western Melbourne Primary Health Network, a not for profit organisation and an Australian Government initiative.
Our counsellors are experts in mental health, anger management, healthy relationships, wellbeing, and suicide prevention.
Lifeline is a national charity providing all Australians experiencing emotional distress with access to 24-hour crisis support and suicide prevention services. Lifeline provides opportunities for connection through digital and face to face mental health and suicide prevention crisis support services. Our telephone, text, and online crisis support services receive over 1 million contacts a year.
